Chevrolet Opens New Home In Vanuatu

In partnership with General Motors Overseas Distribution Cooperation (GM ODC) and appointed dealer Prestige Motors, launched a new Chevrolet brand showroom yesterday afternoon at the Prestige Motors premises.

The unveiling marked a new home to the Chevrolet fleet of vehicles in Vanuatu.

The new showroom will be housing a brand new 3S centre for Chevrolet, encompassing sales, services and spare parts strategically located near the city centre.

"GM ODC is delighted to be partnering with Prestige Motors in Vanuatu. We are confident of the continued growth of the Chevrolet brand in the South Pacific with the help of our partner, and we trust in their ability to promote and widen our network in this region," said Managing Director of GM ODC, Kittichai Jarusrojpoka.

Founder and Managing Director of Prestige Motors, J.K Hong reviled during a Press Conference prior to the launching yesterday that his company is looking forward to sell around a 100 vehicle next year due to this new development.

"We are glad to be partnering with GM ODC and Chevrolet in Vanuatu. With experience in the various areas of the automotive industry including sales, services and spare parts, were all areas of operation have been experiencing growths since founding of the company in 200, we are confident to deliver the best of Chevrolet driving experience to our customers locally," he adds.

A range of highly successful commercial models including the Chevrolet Colorado pick up, Chevrolet Labo truck and the Chevrolet Damas van targeted for small-medium businesses will be on display for customers to choose from.

Chevrolet is one of the fastest growing brand in the Asia Pacific region since launched in the region in 2000 as part of General Motor's strategy to position Chevrolet as a global mainstream brand.
